Meet the Team

Corey Manning, Co-Owner and President

Corey grew up in the wine business and always worked at the winery, but didn’t get exposed to the sales aspect of the business until 1991 when he moved to Southern California to work with his sister, Dawn. His initial position working as a merchandiser for the private label wines at Trader Joe’s exposed him to the intricacies customer buying patterns. Next came a turn developing private label brands for Von’s Grocery Co. and then the challenge of selling wines outside California.
Moving back to Northern California in 2003, he supervised the extensive winery facility expansion. In 2004, he accepted the post of President, moving fully into an operational role in 2005.
Corey is married to Emily, the love of his life. Together, they have four boys that fill their house with nonstop activities. They live locally on a 3 acre farm that is dedicated to growing organic fruit and vegetables for the area’s homeless shelters. Much of their free time is dedicated to their overwhelming sense of civic duties.

Dawn Manning, Co-Owner and President of Sales

Born in New York to Tom and Diane Manning, Dawn was the only girl among her three brothers.
Beginning in 1984, Dawn Manning began her career at Chateau Diana with four years working alongside her parents to learn the internal operations of the winery – working on the bottling line, loading trucks, sweeping the floors, administration assistance and, her most valued time, assisting her brother, Craig, in his winemaking duties.
Dawn relocated to Southern California in 1988 to open Chateau Diana’s National Sales and Marketing Office. Her travel throughout the United States, to develop a network of retailers and distributors, is where she really learned the value of relationships and the power of your word. In 2001, Dawn and her brother, Corey, assumed the daily operation and management of Chateau Diana. Together, they continue their parents’ legacy. Today, Dawn spends her day managing the sales of the winery, approaching sales by listening to her customers’ changing needs, quickly and nimbly responding.
One of her greatest joys is seeing the third generation start to make their stamp on the future success of the winery. Family has always been the most motivating part of Dawn’s life – working in a family business… and with honored customers who feel like family.

Donna Gibson, Chief Financial Officer

Seeing an immediate need, Donna jumped on the Chateau Diana bottling line in 1982, and has been a hands-on participant ever since. A wide variety of subsequent responsibilities prepared her for her current position as Chief Financial Officer of this family-owned business.
A Healdsburg native, but now a Cloverdale resident, she spends free time with her family enjoying the greater Sonoma County landscape—camping, gardening, fishing and cooking.

Dawne Sacchetti, Winemaker

“I want to live here!” Dawne Sacchetti exclaimed on first seeing the Pacific Ocean. Leaving her Pennsylvania roots, to settle in California, her intent was to pursue graduate research work and further her scientific interests. Enjoying the experimental work, but feeling the call of vagabonding adventure, she donned her backpack and began an extended tour of Europe. Travelling in different countries and sailing across an ocean taught her many things, but most importantly, it opened her eyes to the appreciation of wine.
Upon returning to the Bay Area, Dawne eventually settled in the town of Sonoma, California, working in the lab at Buena Vista Winery, later leaving to take a position at Cline Cellars as Enologist— soon becoming Assistant Winemaker.
Early in 2003, the Manning family offered her the challenging post of Winemaker at Chateau Diana leaping at the opportunity to participate in the evolution of this rapidly growing brand. While creatively involved with new and existing brand development, determining and fine-tuning the wine profiles, she manages the daily operation of this medium-sized winery in Dry Creek Valley. Dawne approaches winemaking with the logic of a scientist and the curiosity of an adventurer.
Dawne lives with her husband, Peter, along the banks of the Russian River. A fan of live music concerts, she also enjoys cooking, backpacking, kayaking and getting “lost” in the West Coast back country.

José Arreola, Production Manager

In Jose’s decade-plus experience at other prestigious Sonoma County wineries (Simi, Souverain, Hanna) he planned, implemented and facilitated all bottling line operations, training and elevating his staff to his high standards. He keeps an ever-watchful eye over production and maintenance at Chateau Diana.
When away from work, José enjoys soccer, time with his family, and helping others.

Tracy Shelton, Logistics Coordinator

Tracy Shelton, our logistics coordinator, returned to California and her Chateau Diana family in 2015. Tracy works hand in hand with our freight partners to ensure a quick, safe travel towards their final destination throughout the world.
Tracy enjoys an active life with her boyfriend Billy and their combined 5 boys. Everything from College to tee ball, camping to golf she lives a very active life and loves every minute of it.

Jeff Pitrman, Director of New Business Development

After ten years of working with Chateau Diana, Jeff’s favorite part of the job is still talking to distributors from all over the country. From the skyscrapers of the busiest cities to the quietest rural valleys, every market is its own unique culture. Our loyal customers and hard-working distributors make our wines a success and we’re here to support them!

Crystal Marceau, Product Sourcing Specialist

A Southern California Native, at the age of 20 Crystal decided to venture out into the world to see what was out there. She found herself in Napa Valley and began her career in the Wine Industry. She spent the last 13 years on the supply side working with various wineries and developing lifelong relationships. After getting married to her husband, also a southern California native, the two decided to move back to their hometown in Southern California and start their life together amongst their family and friends. Shortly after returning home Crystal stumbled upon a position opening in Chateau Diana’s Southern California office and couldn’t be more thrilled at the opportunity to get back into the industry that she loved. In her off time Crystal and her husband enjoy attending car shows, cruises, and race events with their car club.
