Chateau Diana Reserve Zinfandel
The Chateau Diana Dry Creek Valley Estate Zinfandel Reserve is celebrating its inaugural release. This is an exceptional Zinfandel grown in what we whimsically call the "Tennis Court" during harvest. There once was a tennis court that covered this special field. Today, the soils from this exact spot are a perfect vehicle for growing Zinfandel grapes.
The dark garnet color is a visual precursor to the dusty, wild blackberry aromas. The dreamy aromas continue long and expressive with clove, cinnamon and eucalyptus highlights. The lively flavors are delicious and well-balanced; with generous portions of fresh crushed black pepper, ripe plums, cranberries and black cherries. The bright fruit lingers on the palate with a finish that is silky and warm.
The Chateau Diana Estate Zinfandel is a friend to outdoor picnics and luncheons. We like pairing this with pulled pork sandwiches, succulent BBQ chicken, or stuffed grilled Portobello mushrooms.
